Netizens Troll Amazon India for “Too Many Ads”
Netizens roast Amazon India’s ad on social media.
Amazon India wanted us to enjoy our favourite shows. Instead, they gifted us ads every 2 minutes — sometimes even before we blink. Viewers went online to rant that watching a movie on Prime Video now feels like watching a YouTube video without Premium.
People didn’t come to stream content…
They came to stream advertisements.
Amazon: “Here’s 1 minute of show.”
Viewers: “Here’s 10 minutes of rage.”
Internet Reaction — “We Paid for Prime, Not for Ads!”
Twitter (X), Instagram, and YouTube exploded with complaints like:
“Paid subscription but still ads? Why am I being punished?”
“Prime Video turning into Prime Ad-Video soon!”
“I forgot the movie plot because Amazon keeps reminding me about other shows.”
And of course, the internet being the internet…
#BoycottAmazon started trending like a new blockbuster release.
Memes rolled out faster than Amazon deliveries.
Some even said they now watch ads with a small side dish of actual content.
